MU/DH7FB & MU/DF2ZC
Frank and Bernd will activate GU land (IN89RK)
They might have a GPRS connection and qrv than with a MMM DXBlog

QRV mainly on 2m EME JT65 with TS2000, MGF1302, sufficient power and 2x9 ele M2
which are partly sponsored by ukwberichte and by SSB Electronic.

The past weeks have been very busy at DF2ZC preparing for the dx pedition, However, after the dxpedition equipment (TS 2000, 3CX800A7, MGF1302, 2 x 9 ele M2) was set up in Bernds garden and successfully tested on 27 September early morning, everything is now on track for the activation of that relatively rare DXCC on 2m EME. On 16 Oct early morning Frank DH7FB and Bernd DF2ZC are leaving from DF2ZCs QTH in JO30RN. The ferry from St. Malo to Guernsey is scheduled for 1800 local time and arrival on the island for 1955 local. After arrival there are some skeds with local pubs before equipment will be set up the next morning so that EME activity can start at moonrise on 17 October. It looks like we can use the entire moon pass whilst we are on site. However, nothing is for sure and we can only see what is and what is not possible after arrival at the bungalow (www.lapastorelle.co.uk). Hopefully the owners who live next door dont get frightened...

EME working frequency is 144,124 MHz and MU/DH7FB or MU/DF2ZC are always tx 1st in JT65B. And we will listen up and down in frequency depending on QRM. Like we did in Gibraltar 2007, besides that frequency we will also monitor 144,082 MHz as long as Japan has moon. If we copy a Japanese station we will give him priority. We will also give priority to callers who have a record of dxpeditions conducted by themselves. Most importantly we are happy to work any station as our goal is to give that rare DXCC to as many as possible. Usually we wont transmit 73s to reply RRRs - not because we are rude people but because we want to save time. We might have a GPRS connection whilst we are on site so have a look at our MMM DXBlog where we will put a list of complete contacts (of course only after the QSO is set). We might also be on N0UK every now and then to give our desperate teeth-grinding incognito friends in the background some exercise to find out if we disclose any information before the QSO is complete so that they - like in ZB land can tell false allegations.

We will try to run MS with a 9 ele Tonna and 300 watts out outside moon hours (when we are not in a local pub) on 144,363 MHz.
