Англичане попробовали прошивку. На прием с внешним генератором все стало хорошо, +-1.5гц, а вот на передачу не помогло. Частота плавает на +-50гц. Требуют от ICOM новую плату, с исправлениями
How to be nice. It's a reasonable first attempt for the work experience guy. naa really its OK but not suitable for transmission.
it holds and warbles around +/- 1.5 Hz at 432 MHz just sitting there minding its own business..
transmission is pretty bad. it gets itself into a knot , and goes off up to 50 Hz... something it pulls itself back, sometimes not.... (have to disable and re sync) .. and when it returns to receive, it is not too bad until the fan finally stops and then it goes off my screen, eventually it comes back. :-) . So, Icom, good first try. not bad. But not really good enough ! ....MK2 mod boards out soon ..... only two easy solder joints required.
