Пришло сообщение от автора через рассылку. Пишет, что "отцы-основатели" заставляют переименовать моду (и прогу, наверное, тоже).
Правомерно, конечно, да и слава Богу. "Медные трубы" эти персоны реально ну никак не могут преодолеть.
И так весь мир дудит в их моде, наверное, скоро еще и платить за что-нибудь заставят
Правильнее, конечно бы, было взять за основу подобной программы fldigi и какую-нибудь моду с контрольной суммой для 100% гарантии декода
- там хоть никаких нобелевских лауреатов не наблюдает за суетой подопытного сообщества.

I'm finalizing the last few changes for FT8Call 0.7 (and wow is it going to be a good one!) but I need your help with two things.
First, I'll be changing the name of the mode in response to a few chats I had with Joe Taylor and Steve Franke (the inventors of FT8) and the committee who accepts proposals to ADIF. Long story, but they'd like me to stop using "FT8" as the mode name. So... how can you help? Now is the opportunity for you to get creative! Email me what you think it should be called!
Second, I have written some really neat text compression algorithms to send more data in each transmission. What does this mean? We'll likely be able to see 15-20 WPM transmission speeds in the near future. But, I need some help. I need a bunch of ALL.txt files so I can confirm my results with actual transmissions we've sent over the air. If you are willing to help, head over to your log directory (File->Open Log Directory) and email me your ALL.txt file: kn4crd@gmail.com This will let me evaluate two different techniques I've used to see which is better performing with the types of messages we actually send.
Also note, version 0.7 will likely release on the evening of Saturday Sept 29, so time is of the essence!
