Очередная порция информации от тех поддержки Freescale, касательно применимости моделей в AWR/ADS. Может кому-то будет интересно.
The impedance numbers that you can see in our data sheets are directly measured using the test fixture herein.
The ZLoad and Zsource are the measured values of a fully functioning, correlation test fixture. They are NOT the impedances of the device but rather the measurements of the impedance that the device needs to see in order to return the RF performance numbers listed in the data sheet.
The AWR simulation e.g. may give you optimum conjugate impedances for the RF device, but in many cases, those optimum conjugate impedances cannot be physically created on the real world circuit, or they may produce RF performance numbers that are not preferred, with regards to gain flatness, for example.
As per our validations using ADS we have got the following results at 230MHz.
230 MHz MEASURED MODEL FET2 DELTA
Source Impedance 0.61 + j 2.72 0.54 + j 2.50 8.31 %
Load Impedance 1.53 + j 2.33 1.56 + j 2.00 8.93 %
